All garbage pickup issues need to be directed to GFL at (906) 774-9006.  All other garbage issues, call Town Board/Clerk. 

Garbage Pick Up Guidelines:

Garbage pickup is every Monday. Here are some guidelines for garbage:

Garbage can be in bags no larger than 33 gallon and no heavier than 30 lbs each.

All garbage must fit inside brown Pembine cart, any garbage on top of cart or on ground will not be picked up.

Only new garbage carts can be used now and in the future.

Pick-up is weekly on Mondays unless there is a Holiday during that week then it will be pushed back to Tuesday.

Recycling must fit inside new green recycling cart, no recycling on the ground or on top of the cart will be picked up. Do not put recycling in bags, just put loose inside green cart. Recycling pick-up is now once a month. Pick-up will be on the first Monday of the month. If you feel you need an additional recycling cart, please contact GFL directly.

The new carts need to be front facing toward roadway and handle and wheels toward drive way. Please have carts within 3 feet of the road and 5 feet away from any other object, including another garbage cart.
